We are incredibly excited and grateful to partner with subscription TV provider Foxtel, who have committed $2.5m in support for community mental health wellbeing through partnerships with Raise Foundation, Reach Out and R U OK?
This generous support will go a long way in helping us inspire volunteer mentors and funding partners in our drive to provide a trained volunteer youth mentor to support young people who are at risk of disengagement or poor wellbeing.
“Having a trained volunteer mentor to have a heart-to-heart conversation with every week for two school terms makes all the difference for young people who are at risk of disengagement or poor wellbeing. Foxtel’s generous support will help Raise recruit the volunteer mentors we need for thousands of young people as we grow to offer our program to every public secondary school in the country.” – Vicki Condon AM, Raise Founder & CEO
Foxtel will work closely with Raise to help raise awareness on youth mental health and wellbeing via airtime for Community Service Announcements, corporate volunteer programs, workplace excursions and various other mental wellbeing initiatives.
