Today, to coincide with International Youth Day, Raise Foundation launched its first unique, large-scale, brand awareness and mentor recruitment campaign ‘Letters To My Mentor’. Our aim is to offer mentoring support to young people in Australia, helping them to become resilient, capable and connected.
Here’s the lowdown:
What’s the campaign? Letters To My Mentor
Why? A Mentor Makes All the Difference in the Life of a Young Person
What’s the concept? We asked our Ambassadors to write a letter of thanks to their mentor, to share their personal story of #TheDifferenceAMentorMakes to inspire and engage Australians to consider the importance of mentors in their own lives and ultimately, to raise their hand to mentor a young person for #RaiseFoundation
Who is involved? Our wonderful ambassadors; Georgie Gardner, Jean Kittson, Mia Freedman, Mark Beretta and Ryan ‘’Fitzy” Fitzgerald and we would love for you to be involved too. Want to know how? Keep reading and you’ll find out below!
Sounds expensive? This campaign is the brain child of creative agency Channel Zero who have donated a year’s worth of their time and expertise to create this vision which will significantly raise the profile of Raise Foundation. With the pro bono support of media buying agency, 360DMG we’ve been able to take this incredible campaign to market.
What’s the aim? Ultimately, the #LettersToMyMentor campaign will inspire thousands of Australians to register to become a mentor in our brand new Raise Digital village and Raise Foundation will also become a household name in Australia.
Ok, so where will we see it? In addition to a comprehensive PR campaign, Letters To My Mentor advertisements will be shown on live TV (across all channels), on Video on Demand and heard across radio. They will also feature all over the internet with a retargeting programmatic. Everything will link back to our microsite www.letterstomymentor.com.au where individuals can see more content and start the sign up process.
This sounds amazing! How can I support it? Over the coming months we will be sharing exciting content across our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn channels. We would love for you to show your support by posting to your own network, sharing a post from our social channel with your family and friends by tagging them in the comments or even forwarding this email on to someone you think would make a great mentor!
We’re planning on making this Mentoring Movement absolutely viral, you can help us by using the following hashtags too.
We really appreciate you getting behind us to make this campaign a success. In the end it all comes back to offering mentoring support to young people in Australia, helping them to become resilient, capable and connected.
