In addition to sense of purpose and a rewarding contribution, our mentors also report personal growth, increased empathy, increased leadership skills, increased self-esteem, increased understanding of young people, the ability to listen without judgement and the ability to apply mentoring skills at home and at work.
Rewarding and challenging, it’s a win, win, win, win experience; for you, students, schools and the organisations who partner with us – together we empower the community to build a brighter future where young people are more resilient and able to thrive.
“He was standing straighter, he was confident, he spoke for himself and talked more about the happy moments in life, rather than the unhappy moments – it made me warm inside and smile.”
“We see Raise as a win-win-win… providing a mentor to the young people thereby giving them greater opportunity, allowing our staff to be involved, and for the community by investing in our youth who are our future.”
“I cannot recommend Raise highly enough. It is an integral part of our wellbeing system. Every year we marvel at the impact it has on the students who are fortunate enough to be involved.”
