“Pat is currently the head coach of the Gen Blue U20s and the Elite Youth Development Manager at the NSW Waratahs. Previously, he was the NSW Waratahs’ club captain and a leader on and off the field. A member of the Waratahs pathway since 2006, Pat was named captain of the Australian Sevens team in the 2009/10 IRB Series before being required for Super 14 duty. Capitalising on his rising stocks, Pat went on to represent the Australian Barbarians against England before captaining Australia’s Sevens side at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and earning selection on the Wallabies Spring Tour of Hong Kong and Europe in the same year. He has been a member of the Waratahs squad since then and has earned 36 Super Rugby caps. A certain highlight of his career was winning the 2014 Super Rugby title with the Waratahs. Off-field, Pat is known for his strong commitment to community service and was announced as joint winner of the 2014 RUPA Community Service Award alongside Henry Speight from the ACT Brumbies. Pat is a Ambassador of the Raise Foundation, and supports several charities including Batyr – One Sock One Goal and the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
