Every term we recognise one of our fabulous partners, for the inspiring work they’re doing to help young Australians feel heard, valued and supported. This time we’d like to say a big thank you to our partner Goodman.
As a Major Partner for Raise, we’d like to share with you what makes Goodman so special. Over the years Goodman have not only supported Raise through the donation of financial support, but also through time as mentors, skills sharing, and space to hold our mentor training. Goodman employees have been Raise mentors, working with the young people in our programs since 2014. They have supported us at all of our fundraising events since 2014, sponsoring the Sparkle Ball and the Golf Day, and attending our Patron’s Lunch. The Goodman team is also taking the Upstream Challenge with us in Melbourne this year, with 15 people walking along the Yarra River for 20kms and the foundation is matching monies raised. We are proud to say that our partnership with Goodman has become stronger and stronger over the years, enabling us to grow with strength and courage.
We are thrilled that Goodman has continued this amazing support in 2020 by choosing to become a Major Partner for Raise, they are genuinely committed to empowering young Australians.
Goodman was founded more than 30 years ago. As a global industrial property specialist they own, develop and manage high-quality properties in strategic locations across 17 countries including logistics facilities, warehouses and business parks. Goodman believe the sustainability of our planet – and the wellbeing of all the people in it – is everyone’s responsibility. That’s why they partner with passionate charities who, like them, are striving to do good in the world. Read the 2019 Goodman Stakeholder Review to find out more about their work.
At Raise we believe it takes a village to raise a child. “Goodman is always prepared to listen, ask what we’re trying to achieve, and test innovative ideas with us,” says Raise Founder and CEO Vicki Condon. “They don’t just give us funding of volunteers; they’re part of our community. Goodman is an important part of our village.”
