We are thrilled to announce that Raise is now offering digital credentials for our suite of training courses delivered through Raise Learning

Share this badge on your social media accounts, personal websites, digital resumes even on your email signature. When anyone clicks on your badge, they're taken to your Credly profile page which demonstrates what you’ve done to earn your credential and what Knowledge and skills you have achieved.

Why do I need to pay for my Raise Digital Credential?

Raise provides our industry-leading best practice training to our volunteers free of charge. However, it still costs Raise to design, deliver, and evaluate our training to ensure continuous improvements.
By paying for your digital credential, you are supporting Raise to source and train more mentors, who in turn support more young people in our programs.

All funds raised from the Digital Credentials are put back into Raise mentoring and training programs to upskill more people to be great mentors to ensure that we can reach our goal that all young people who want a mentor have access to one.

You can choose not to have a digital credential and that won’t affect your ability to volunteer with Raise this year.

About Digital Credentials In General

Open badges are web-enabled versions of a credential, certification or learning outcome which can be verified in real-time, online.

Raise has partnered with Credly to translate the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a badge, issued and managed through the company's digital badging platform. The technology Credly uses is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share, and verify your competencies digitally.

Representing your skills as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of. It is more than a piece of paper!

Credly is the end-to-end solution for issuing and managing digital credentials. Credly works with credible organisations like Raise to provide digital credentials to individuals, worldwide.

You will receive an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account.

You can easily configure your privacy settings in Credly. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.

No, there is no fee to use Credly, only to purchase your Raise digital credential. You get access to the Credly page at no cost. If you complete more Raise courses or courses with other organisations that also use Credly, they will all also appear in your Credly profile page.

While badges are simply digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.

You can share your badge directly from Credly to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook; Instagram, embedded in a website or in your email signature.

Yes, you can download your badge from the Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image. This allows you to store your badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Badgr Backpack.
