Life has many periods of transition and few are as challenging as the early teenage years.
Raise youth mentoring is an early intervention strategy designed specifically for teens aged 13-16 to help them survive and thrive during these critical years.
The industry leading Raise youth mentoring programs are evidence based and rigorously evaluated so we know that they truly change lives by equipping young people with the tools they need to navigate adolescence and have hope for the future.

With higher levels of hope, young people improve socially and academically. The rare able to set and achieve goals and develop a growth mindset with mentor support. Hope is a buffer against stress, anxiety and suicide ideation.
Mentoring improves a young person's ability to bounce back after stress and enhances recovery. Mentors help young people to increase confidence, adapt to new situations, develop coping skills to deal with adversity and overcome challenges.
Through mentoring, young people build confidence and learn to strengthen connections. This results in improved relationships and a greater sense of belonging, which in turn leads to better education, employment and economic outcomes.
All Raise Youth Mentoring Programs are developed and delivered under a stringent Youth Safety Framework.
We offer two delivery methods:
Each program is structured around an evidence based curriculum and is designed to be flexible, to meet the individual needs of each young person.
Schools apply to run Raise Youth Mentoring Programs during school hours within school grounds. The program runs for one school period at the same time each week throughout term time. All sessions are facilitated by a qualified Program Counsellor who supervises the expertly trained volunteer mentors, who work one-to-one with the young person. Up to 15 students from the school can be invited to participate in each program.

Over a structured but flexible 20-week program, the mentor and mentee will explore a range of topics focusing on building the skills the young person wants to focus on for one hour a week, including:

Raise Digital allows us to support more young people in more locations. It is currently available for teens aged 13-16 in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria and SA who have access to a device and can commit to being available for 45 -50 minutes each week for the duration of the program. All sessions are facilitated and supervised by professional Program Counsellors who are online and available at all times during sessions.
