According to Mission Australia’s 2023 Youth Survey:

Tasmanian young people suggest the solutions are:

- Being comfortable asking for support or advice

- Better access to mental healthcare services

- Having a more diverse support network

This is the power of a Raise mentor for the local community

As a Raise mentor, you will equip a young person with lifelong skills for a brighter future. But we can’t do it without you.

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in your community? Do you believe in creating a supportive environment where young people can thrive? Join us in our mission to tackle social isolation and bullying among Tasmania's youth.

Last year ABC reported that Tasmanian schools, teachers and principals are struggling to respond to their students' mental health needs.
Raise’s mentoring program is the answer.

We provide trained and trusted mentors to 13-15 year olds. With a mentor showing up every week to listen and guide our Raise students, we know they’ll find solutions to this crisis.
